REDIT present in Brussels the book 14 reasons to innovate

The Network of Technological Institutes of Valencia presented the book "REDIT_14 reasons for innovation" in Brussels. In a bid to raise awareness of the projects being developed in partner institutions, the Network has issued this publication which consists of 300 pages, in Spanish and English digital version that can be downloaded from the website (www. redit.es).
The publication includes 14 stories of innovation explained in detail, from which arises the idea, often in the mind of an entrepreneur, to its realization through the collaboration of a technological institute. It also explains, in a shorter, other success stories to reach a total of 70, with the aim of giving an overview of the numerous product innovations, process, and even business model made in technological institutes and are only a small part of the more than 1,000 R&D&i centers are held each year.
Following the previous presentation made at the Office of the Valencian Community in Brussels, was also presented to some 60 representatives from different European networks and regional as well as media, as part of an event from the Network ERRIN (European Regions Research & Innovation Network)
The Manager of REDIT, Cristina Del Campo, explained that "in view of the difficult times in which we installed, it was clear we wanted to do a book to tell real stories serve as inspiration to other entrepreneurs". "The publication, explained, illustrated very graphically the work done in our centers to support business innovation."On the other hand, the head of International Projects AIMPLAS, Valentín Polo, and Sixto Santonja, the ITE Operations Department, commented briefly on some success stories in the book and explained the recent projects that are working their centers .
For its part, the Manager of the Fundation Valencian Region- European Region, Victoria Palau, thanked "REDIT effort to make visible to other European regions all the experience of collaboration between technological centers and business environment in Valencia." "It's an important time where lines are debating the work of the programs from 2014, so these examples are necessary to position the transfer of knowledge and innovation in the Region"
In an effort to get the book to more entrepreneurs, revenue has presented the publication in Valencia, Alicante, Castellón, Brussels and soon will in Madrid.
The Network of Technological Institutes of Valencia (REDIT) is a private non-profit organization founded in 2001 by Technological Institutes in the region and in collaboration with the Valencian Regional Government.
REDIT accounts for 14 associated centres that offer a wide range of R&D&I advanced services addressed to business, especially SME´s, which need the support of external agents to innovate. The Network mainly supplies services to the existing sectors of the Valencian Region and emerging Technologies. AIDICO Building, AIDIMA Wood, Furniture, Packaging and related Industries, AIDO Optics, Colour and Imaging, AIJU Toys, AIMME Metalmechanics, AIMPLAS Plastics, AINIA Agro-food, AITEX Textile, IBV Biomechanics, INESCOP Footwear, ITC Ceramics, ITE Energy, ITENE Packaging, transport and logistics, ITI Computing.
The important role played by integrated centers in revenue is supported by growth in continuous progression is manifested in the evolution of the indicators. The 1,700 workers of the REDIT centers worked in the last year more than 1,000 R & D& i for more than 12,400 business customers and 7,000 business partners.
With the work of the Centres, REDIT contributes to economic growth in our region. For every euro companies invest in the Technological Institutes of REDIT, its revenues growing at around three euros in the medium term. The Centers serve as tractor companies, facilitating their access to regional innovation projects, national and European. In addition, our centers are almost three times more efficient in generating new employment than the Spanish average.
