Intelligent PPE system for personnel in high-risk and complex environments (i-Protect)

The goal is to create Advanced Personal Protective Equipment that will enable the user’s health to be monitored, identify situations of risk and help check on staff in extreme situations.

Aims

The IBV mainly takes part in tasks of verification and validation of the parameters of functionality, ergonomics and usability of the Personal Protective Equipment.

The project lasts for four years and is headed by the Polish centre CIOP-PIB. There are 17 entities from different countries participating: Poland, Germany, Italy, Finland, Spain, France and the Czech Republic.

The goal is to create Advanced Personal Protective Equipment that will enable the user’s health to be monitored, identify situations of risk and help check on staff in extreme situations.
